The five volumes contain over 1700 pages with important texts related to Expressionism and a large number of illustrations, including 43 original full-page prints, printed to one side, + many plates printed in heliogravure. Produced in 1947 as a series of woodcuts, the unsold prints were assembled in this book form in 1970. Overall size 7.5 x 4.5 in. (19 x 11 cm); as new in publisher's wrappers.
